Refund & Return Policy
General
When purchasing goods via internet order, you may have the right to cancel and return your order as long as its within the norms of the cancellation policy. If such a right applies, the following terms are applicable (note that certain goods cannot be returned under specific circumstances). You can return items within seven (7) days of delivery only if they are damaged upon arrival and noted as such.

Return requests are not accepted after seven (7) days from the delivery date.

The product must be in its original condition and packaging.

Products purchased under any promotional or discounted schemes cannot be exchanged.

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
If a defect is found at the time of delivery or within seven (7) days of delivery, the buyer can request a replacement subject to the following conditions:

Notify the company of any defects at delivery or within seven (7) days.

The product will be replaced upon return of the defective item.

If an identical product is unavailable, it will be replaced with another product of equal value.

Replacement can be for the entire product or part(s) thereof, depending on availability.

Contact us at contact aestheteak.in with your order number, details, and a photo of the damage, if possible, within 24 hours of receiving the order.
Orders for specially commissioned, bespoke, or personalised goods cannot be returned.

Goods must be returned within 20 business days after approval, meeting return policy terms.

Return requests are evaluated by our technical team, and customer support will contact you within 24 hours.

Return pickup will be scheduled based on interactions with customer support, and the product will be picked up from the original shipping address within one week of the return request initiation.
The following products are not eligible for return or replacement:

Products with slight variance from the order or made on order

Damages due to misuse

Incidental damage from product malfunction

Consumable items that have been used/installed

Digital products/services

Damages/defects not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty

The return policy for each product depends on both the product type and the trader's policy. A handling fee of 10% of the purchase amount may be applied by the trader.
If the company suspects or knows that any buyer is involved in activities intended to provide false, misleading, or non-genuine claims or information, it reserves the right to initiate civil and/or criminal proceedings. The company may also suspend, block, restrict, or cancel the display name of such buyers and disqualify them from availing protection through this program.
Filing an invalid or false claim, or providing false, incomplete, or misleading information, may result in civil and/or criminal proceedings. The company may suspend, block, restrict, or cancel the display name and related display names of such users. Fraudulent complaints containing false, incomplete, or misleading information will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Claims and Remedies
For any of our products, services, or site content, our sole and exclusive obligation or liability, and your sole and exclusive remedy, will be to replace and deliver equivalent product items as soon as reasonably possible. Claims must be brought within thirty (30) days after delivery for perishable products and one hundred eighty (180) days for non-perishable items, or we shall not be liable, and you will have waived any related claims.
Dispute Resolution
Generally, transactions with the company are smooth. However, disputes may arise between buyers and the company. We have a Dispute Resolution process to handle such issues.

A dispute is a disagreement between a buyer and the company regarding a transaction on the website.

If the company rejects a return request and the buyer raises a dispute, the company will mediate. If resolved in favour of the buyer, an exchange is provided once the product is returned. If resolved in favour of the company, no exchange or refund is provided.
Email Abuse & Threat Policy
Private communication, including email correspondence, is not regulated by the company, which encourages professionalism, courtesy, and respect. The company will investigate and take action on unwanted emails violating company policies, such as:

Violations may result in account limitations, suspension, cancellation of listings, or loss of special status.
Other Businesses
The company is not responsible for the actions, products, content, and services of affiliates and third-party websites linked through the website. The company does not warrant their offerings or content.
Cancellation
Customers should review all specifications, drawings, and terms before placing an order. Additional charges apply for changes made after confirmation. Orders cannot be canceled once placed, and the advance amount will not be refunded. Please refer our Cancellation Policy for further details.
Delivery Schedule
The company aims to deliver products within the indicated delivery period from the order date and receipt of full payment. Any delays due to natural calamities, bad weather, fires, strikes, riots, or unforeseen circumstances, customers will be notified of such delays.
Claims
If goods deviate from the original order, a written claim should be filed immediately. Substantiated claims will result in replacement as per normal delivery schedule. Claims and complaints do not entitle the purchaser to withhold balance payment.

Cancellation Within 24 Hours: If a cancellation request is made within 24 hours of placing the order, the total amount will be refunded provided there are no over head costs.

Cancellation After 24 Hours: Once the 24-hour window has passed, the product cost becomes non-refundable, as the customisation process begins promptly to meet your specific needs
Refund Guidelines:
If you are eligible for any refund, the process will adhere to the following guidelines:

All refunds and replacement processes will be subject to the pickup of all canceled items from your or the customer's premises.

Upon receiving the products back at our warehouse, a refund shall be initiated within 2-3 days.

Refunds will be initiated via NEFT, cash, or by the original payment method, depending on how the payment was initially made.

Depending on the orders, processing charges might be deducted.
Warranty Information:

Warranty primarily covers the wood used and the durability of the furniture.

Burma Teak Products: Enjoy the assurance of a 2 year warranty on all our Burma teak items from the date of delivery, provided they are properly stored, handled, assembled, maintained, and used under normal conditions in a non-commercial setting, reflecting our confidence in their enduring quality and durability.

Ghana and Indian Teak Products: Enjoy the assurance of a 1 year warranty on all our Ghana and Indian teak items from the date of delivery, provided they are properly stored, handled, assembled, maintained, and used under normal conditions in a non-commercial setting, ensuring your satisfaction and peace of mind.
Conditions Not Covered Under Warranty:
Our warranty does not extend to the following conditions:

Normal wear and tear of the product over prolonged use.

Small cuts, scratches, or damages due to incorrect cleaning methods or accidents.

Damage caused by incorrect installation or assembly by the customer.

Products stored, assembled, or used inappropriately or cleaned using incorrect methods or products.
-
Natural characteristics of wood, including joint lines, wood grains, or seasonal splits, which are not defects.

Upholstery fabrics such as seat covers have no warranty; warranty applies only to the frame and mechanisms, if any.

Non-standard dry-cleaning procedures or the use of harsh chemicals.
-
Minor unevenness of up to 5 mm, which is considered acceptable due to differences in floor and surface levels.

Warranty does not cover : Stonework (granite or marble), Stonework fade (granite or marble), Laminate, Mirrors, Glass, Lights or Bulbs, Bolts and Nuts, Upholstery, Cushions, Stitching, Polish Fade, Chains on Swings, Throw Cushions, Knobs and Handles, Cane Work, Draw Channels, Bed Storage Channels, Wheels on Beds, Dressers and Bar carts or Bar items.
Damage Assessment and Resolution:
At Aestheteak, we conduct thorough assessments to determine the status of a damaged product. Here's how we handle such situations:

Assessment Process: A product will be deemed damaged only after careful assessment by our dedicated team.

Resolution: If the damage is confirmed to be genuine, Aestheteak reserves the right to either repair or replace the product. The final decision regarding repair or replacement rests solely with Aestheteak.

Warranty is deemed void when: It is important to note that any damage resulting from accidents, improper maintenance, or other conditions outlined above will render the product ineligible for warranty coverage. As such, any associated warranty claims will be voided in such cases.

Delivery Policy:
We ensure a hassle-free installation process with our dedicated support and delivery team. Please note the following:

Free delivery if applicable is only for the first attempt only at your ship-to address. Additional charges may apply for subsequent visits due to missed deliveries.

Our delivery partners will deliver the product to the ground floor if there is no service lift available or it is difficult to move the product in your apartment. The difficulty will be assessed by the delivery partner.

Extra charges may apply for weekend or specific time deliveries.

If the products are not received after reaching your nearest delivery center, we will hold them for 10 days. After this period, additional charges may apply for storage.
